Success Stories
Since the last BLCWR, I have a short article coming out in the Short and Sweet anthology and I’m now writing for GO! Christian Magazine, Emerald Coast edition. I’m also getting ready to send out my first book proposal, the non-fiction book I received a first place Living Water Award for at BLCWR 2019.
The second year I attended this conference, I entered several manuscripts in the Living Water contest. I earned an honorable mention for an article which led to a submission invitation. Three of my articles have been published as a result. I am grateful for the opportunity to make connections and build my writing resume.
My time at Blue Lake led to a mentoring relationship with a published author. Her encouragement and instruction has opened doors and helped me grow as a writer in ways I would never have imagined.
